About Us
Who We Are:
Bloom is a Blackpool based Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to supporting young adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We offer a life-skills day service for young people from age 16 that provides a unique, individually led approach to building independence. Bloom was founded to create a safe, nurturing space where young adults can learn, grow, and form lasting relationships in their community.

Our Mission
At Bloom, our mission is to provide tailored, person-centred support that empowers young people with SEND to develop their strengths and move toward a level of independence that reflects their individual needs. We focus on nurturing each person’s capabilities through personalised care and engaging, skill-building activities.
We are committed to creating strong, lasting links within the local community, connecting learners with opportunities that value their talents and promote long-term inclusion. While we recognise that some level of support will always be needed, our goal is to maximise independence and ensure support is always focused on positive, achievable outcomes.
With a combined 30 plus years’ experience in education, care, and support, our leaders will deliver enriching, structured programmes that promote life and work skills in a fun, supportive, and empowering environment. We also model respectful, appropriate interactions, creating a culture where each young person can feel valued, safe, and ready to thrive

What we Offer
Bloom offers a range of day services and activities designed to be enriching, enjoyable, and tailored to our participants’ needs. Our program is built around high-quality, fun, and educational activities that help young adults gain practical skills and confidence. We focus on each person’s abilities and goals, whether that’s learning to cook a meal, taking public transport independently, or simply interacting with other people
